    Puducherry: Active infections dip below 7k, least in 45 days

    The number of active Covid-19 infections in Puducherry dropped below 7,000 on Wednesday, the lowest the Union territory has had in 45 days. The territory reported 642 fresh cases even as 932 patients recovered in the 24 hours ending 10am on Wednesday, bringing down active cases to 6,853. The last time active cases in the UT were less than 7,000 was on April 24 (6,767)
