West Bengal is likely to see the first Covid vaccine activity in the form of a Phase II clinical trial at state-run College of Medicine and Sagore Dutta Hospital (CMSDH). Decks are being cleared to roll out the clinical trial of the Russian vaccine Sputnik V. If all goes well, the trial is expected to start by November-end.​
