    Bids open for Chennai-Bengaluru road project

    The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has floated a tender for phase III of Chennai-Bengaluru Expressway project under Bharatmala scheme. AS per NHAI estimates, the construction of the four-lane road between Kancheepuram and Arakkonam will cost ?858.93 crore. The 240km-long expressway will pass through various industrial and mining corridors including Sriperumbudur and Kolar Gold Fields.
