    New market opens at Thiruvanmiyur, locals wary

    More than two weeks after being shut, the city corporation reopened the Thiruvanmiyur market for business on Wednesday. The market was closed on May 3 after a vendor tested positive for Covid-19. Residents, though glad that the market has been reopened, sought that more precautions be taken at the new facility.
