    Adyar school detains 4-year-old in LKG

    In violation of the no-detention policy up to Class VIII, a private CBSE school detained a girl in LKG, citing she doesn’t have the “ability to write down all the alphabets or numbers.” The principal said the action was taken with the parents’ consent. The parents, however, said they never gave the consent, but were forced to pay the fees again.
